Veterinary Student Scholarship Program 2017: 36 studenten kregen $5,000!

Brussels, 28 November 2017. The MSD Animal Health and the Federation of Veterinarians of Europe (FVE) are proud to announce that 36 students have been selected for the 2017 Veterinary Student Scholarship Program.

The Review Committee selected 36 excellent students from the following countries: Belgium, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.

Each of the students will be granted a scholarship of $5,000 US Dollars with the aim to enhance their academic experience.

The successful collaboration with the MSD Animal health proves how important is empowering veterinary students” said FVE President Rafael Laguens at the FVE General Assembly held last week in Brussels. “36 Veterinary students across Europe will have the opportunity to boost their academic experience and focus on activities that will certainly help them on the way to the profession”.

Veterinarians are the foundation of animal health – from helping discover new and innovative ways to managing disease to diagnosing and treating the animals in their care,” said Dr. Hans-Guenther Dittrich, Head of Europe, Russia, North Africa, Middle East, MSD Animal Health. “MSD Animal Health is excited and proud to provide scholarships to these deserving students as they represent the future of animal health”.
